Welcome to the historic courthouse, now home of the
Rowan County Arts Center
Established in 2007, the Rowan County Arts Center is home to ten studio artists, a gallery featuring rotating exhibits and an auditorium suited for plays, concerts, meetings and other events.
Open to the public five days a week, visitors, artists and school groups are invited to come discover the plethora of talent that exists in our community.
Guests can view everything from oil, acrylic and watercolor painting to quilting, photography, sculpture and more. Our exhibits change monthly.
This program's goal is to bring together local artists and different mediums into one project for public display and appreciation.
The Art Center plays host to many community events. Along with our art exhibits, we also feature concerts, plays and other interactive event.
Our auditorium is a perfect venue for many events. The space is flexible and works great for large and small meetings, receptions and more.
